The filter hose is one of those accessories you only notice when it causes problems. The Chihiros Filter Hose Pro 16/21 mm solves the typical problems of standard PVC hoses: it does not harden in the cold, does not yellow, does not accumulate visible algae, and lasts over 10 years. Food-grade silicone, matte grey, soft to the touch. Three meters included (2 pieces of 1.5 m).

▼ Main features

  • Inner/outer diameter: 16/21 mm
  • Food-grade silicone: colorless, tasteless, no release of substances into the water
  • Remains flexible at any temperature: no installation problems in winter
  • Surface treated with a spraying process: soft, smooth, and dust-resistant
  • Matte grey color: internal algae are not visible, no aesthetic problems
  • Durability over 10 years
  • Contents: 3 meters total (2 pieces of 1.5 m)

Expert advice: the 16/21 mm diameter is compatible with most medium and large external filters. Always check the diameter of your filter connections before purchasing. Silicone does not alter the water parameters and maintains flexibility even after years of use, unlike PVC, which tends to harden.
